Antonio Hazim

Antonio Hazim built Hazim Law to give Florida's construction industry something most law firms cannot offer: a lawyer who has sat in the general counsel's chair and the operations chair, and who has stood on the job site while the work was actually happening.

Based in Fort Lauderdale, Hazim Law serves general contractors, developers, subcontractors, and design professionals across South Florida - handling the full range of construction law, from contract drafting and lien claims to defect litigation, insurance coverage, licensing, and regulatory compliance.

That combination means Antonio does not practice construction law from theory. He knows how a payment dispute unfolds on an active job site, how a design defect gets discovered mid-project, and how a contractor's operational decisions become the facts a case turns on later. Clients get advice built on how construction businesses actually run. Before founding Hazim Law, Antonio built his litigation foundation representing contractors and design professionals in complex construction disputes-gaining direct command of Florida's construction statutes, including Chapters 713, 718, 553, 558, and 725, standard AIA contract forms, and the insurance frameworks behind nearly every construction claim. 

Antonio is bilingual in English and Spanish and works with clients throughout Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and the broader South Florida region-bringing the same standard to every matter: direct, accurate counsel from someone who has actually been inside the process.
